This 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ75 is a right-hand-drive fire truck that was imported from Japan to the US following the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2023, and power is provided by a 4.0-liter 3F inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a power take-off-driven water pump, a hose, auxiliary gauges and switchgear, and a rear storage compartment. Finished in red over gray vinyl, the truck also has 16″ steel wheels, an extended front bumper, front disc brakes, and a heater. This 70-series Land Cruiser is now offered in California by the selling dealer at no reserve with an owner’s manual and a clean Virginia title.
The four-door truck is finished in red with gold and white decals and is equipped with diamond-plate trim, a rear storage compartment, auxiliary gauges and switchgear, a hose, and a PTO-driven water pump. Additional details include an extended front bumper, fender-mounted side mirrors, running boards, and mud flaps. Close-up photos of the paintwork and trim are presented in the gallery.
Red 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 235/85 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires with 2025 date codes. The truck is equipped with front and rear semi-elliptic leaf springs, and stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The front bucket seats and a split rear bench are upholstered in gray vinyl, and the rear seat back wears a plastic cover. Auxiliary switchgear and controls for the heater are housed in the dashboard. Tears in the seats and other interior trim are visible in the gallery, and holes are noted in the dashboard and glovebox.
The steering wheel fronts a 170-km/h speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 25k kilometers (~15k miles).
The 4.0-liter 3F inline-six was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. Service under current ownership included replacing the carburetor, air filter, fuel filter, battery, and radiator cap. An oil change was also performed and according to the seller, the choke needs to be adjusted.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Rust-through is visible on the exhaust components.
The vehicle has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair or Air Resources Board, and it has not passed a California smog test. It cannot be registered in California. The Virginia title notes: “No proof of compliance with federal safety requirement required.”
