Speaker Johnson: There Are ‘More Than 1.4 Million Illegal Aliens on Medicaid’

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that there were “more than 1.4 million illegal aliens on Medicaid.”
Johnson said, “We are not cutting Medicaid in this package. There‘s a lot of misinformation out there about this.”
He continued, “The numbers of Americans who are affected are those that are entwined in our work to eliminate fraud, waste and abuse. And what do I mean by that? You got more than 1.4 million illegal aliens on Medicaid. Medicaid is not intended for non-U.S. citizens. It‘s intended for the most vulnerable populations of Americans, which is pregnant women and young single mothers, the disabled, the elderly. They are protected in what we‘re doing because we‘re preserving the resources for those who need it most.”

Speaker Johnson is ON this issue - and democrats are now playing the CNN interview with the Wisconsin 'McCain' (Ron Johnson) non stop on MSNBC. Didn't take liberals an hour to play our side against each other. I'm waiting or democrats to throw Rand Paul into the drama - OUR GUYS NEED TO FIGHT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, NOT ON CNN. My question as well. The losers in Congress snivel and whine about the debt they created, and that illegals are fleecing us thru Medicaid, yet do absolutely nothing to fix the problems.....except talk.

I bet that even with the most liberal and humanitarian assesments (including any serious medical conditions), no more than 20,000 of these, if that many, need to stay in USA any longer than the time it takes for them to pack up to return to their own countries. Start shipping them home now with the (non-sanctuary and non-emergency) ones from anti-American hate-mongering regimes like Krapistan and Iran, we don’t need that kind of dangerous ethical sheit here. Ship any drug-pushers home to Mexico or Communist China or whereever they hail from, too.

Sounds like their means of screening Illegals doesn’t work as well as they claimed.
For those interested, on the form there is a line asking “Are you a citizen of the United States? Yes or No”. If you answer no, you don’t get Medicaid, if you answer Yes, you do. Obviously there’s no need to follow-up if they say “Yes” because Illegals never lie, so they don’t bother to follow up, since that would be redundant. In other words, they save taxpayer dollars by not spending their time uselessly checking for citizenship, since they already know the answer.

Frankly, I think he is lying.
There are nowhere near that number of illegals on Medicaid.
This pouring forth is because the Senate numbers are not there and he’s desperate, and the Senate numbers are not there because they want Medicaid left alone.
They are not there because the deficit will climb from 1.8T to 2.2T with this bill. And no, don’t start with the It’s A Good Start!. It’s not a good start. How can going from 1.8T to 2.2T be a good start?
