I have formally requested the Trump Administration rescind their unlawful deployment of troops in Los Angeles county and return them to my command.
We didn’t have a problem until Trump got involved. This is a serious breach of state sovereignty — inflaming tensions while pulling resources from where they’re actually needed.
Rescind the order. Return control to California.

If the deployment is unlawful, then they have never left state control and Newsome doesn’t need Trump to do anything.

Trump didn’t force people to commit violent acts. Individuals are responsible for their own actions. Law enforcement do not force people to do these things.
Trump wants to enforce the law.

During the Whiskey Rebellion, President Washington did not primarily use the Pennsylvania militia but relied on New Jersey, Virginia, and Maryland militias and the then small Regular Army to suppress the Pennsylvania rebels. During the anti-integration riots in the South, Presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy Federalized the state National Guard units but used Regular Army troops to suppress the riots. Governor Newsom appointed the senior officers of the California National Guard. Trump may have to sideline the California units and use the Marines or National Guard units from loyal states like Texas and Florida.

The Peter Principle at work. Governor Newsom has risen to a position way beyond his ability to perform.
He had dreams of becoming President and he has not been able to rise beyond the school yard playground.
I would imagine the governors of the Southern states object to Federal Troops in their states back in 1861, but when you not only allow but support insurrection you can expect the President to respond.
