This 1992 Rover Mini Cooper was exported from Japan to the United States in 2018, and the seller acquired the vehicle out of Arizona as a project in 2023. Subsequent work involved rebuilding the 1.3-liter inline-four and the four-speed manual transaxle, repainting the body in metallic green with a white roof, installing a Viper alarm, and replacing the Weber carburetor, the suspension, the steering rack, various seals, the battery, and the front tires. The car is equipped with a Cobra-branded driver seat, patterned black cloth upholstery, a Momo wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Kenwood stereo, an Infinity subwoofer, and Speedster-style 10″ wheels. This right-hand-drive Mk VI Mini is now offered at no reserve in California with service records, spare parts, and an Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory in Black with a Diamond White roof and was repainted in metallic green under current ownership, per the seller. Exterior details include bright-bezel round headlights, a bright horizontal grille, quick-release grille fasteners, fender-mounted dual side mirrors, black wheel-arch flares, pop-out rear-quarter windows, and chrome bumpers. The window seals and door weatherstripping were replaced in May 2025. Blemishes on the badges are pictured in the gallery below.

Speedster-style 10″ wheels are mounted with Nankang front tires and Yokohama rear rubber. The car was factory equipped with an independent front and rear suspension with telescopic hydraulic dampers. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The front tires and wheel studs were replaced in June 2025, and a suspension kit from Mini Sport LTD was adapted in July 2025. The steering rack and the inner CV-joint boots also were replaced under current ownership.

A black-upholstered Cobra-branded driver seat was installed under prior ownership, and the other seats are trimmed in black cloth with gray and red patterned accents. A Bluetooth-compatible Kenwood Bluetooth stereo, an Infinity subwoofer, and a Viper alarm system have been added. The interior also houses replacement front seatbelts as well as a heater. The cushion of the driver seat is split.

A Momo wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a 210-km/h speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 4k kilometers (~3k miles), approximately 1k kilometers of which were added under current ownership. The seller states that the odometer reading is not accurate, and true mileage is unknown.

The 1.3-liter inline-four was rebuilt by Heritage Garage of Costa Mesa, California, in September 2024. A replacement Weber carburetor was installed in 2024 and the removed unit is included in the sale. The oil was changed most recently in May 2025, and the battery was replaced in September 2025.

Power is routed to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle that was rebuilt by Heritage Garage along with the engine. The gear-selector seal was replaced in 2024.
