This 1974 Honda CB750 spent over two decades in storage before it was recommissioned circa 2014, with work under previous ownership that included replacing the fuel tank, rebuilding the four Keihin carburetors, and installing a Dynatek ignition system and a MAC four-into-one exhaust system. Finished in red and black, the bike is powered by an air-cooled 736cc SOHC inline-four paired with a five-speed transmission. It also has an electric starter, a front disc brake, 19″ and 18″ wire-spoke wheels, a reproduction two-up seat, folding passenger foot pegs, chrome-finished fenders, and both center and side stands. The bike was acquired by the seller on BaT in August 2024, and work under current ownership involved installing a reproduction two-up seat with a passenger grab strap as well as changing the battery, drive chain, and tires. This CB750K3 is offered at no reserve with a service summary, repair manuals, a folder of receipts and resources, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The replacement fuel tank was repainted red in 2023, and it is accompanied by black side covers and chrome-finished fenders. A reproduction two-up seat with a passenger grab strap was installed under current ownership, and additional details include a rear grab bar, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands. Blemishes are visible on the fuel tank.
Wire-spoke wheels with chrome-finished rims measuring 19″ up front and 18″ out back were mounted with Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires under current ownership. Suspension consists of a conventional telescopic fork with black accordion gaiters in addition to a pair of shocks attached to the swingarm. Braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum.
The chrome handlebar carries a pair of round mirrors and is mounted to the top triple clamp with a riser that features integrated indicator lights. Green-dial Nippon Denso instrumentation consists of a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 600 of which were ridden by the seller.
The air-cooled 736cc SOHC inline-four is equipped with a kick starter, an electric starter, four Keihin carburetors, and a MAC four-into-one exhaust system with black-finished head pipes and a chrome-finished muffler. Factory-rated output was 67 horsepower. A Dynatek Dyna S ignition system was installed in May 2024, at which time the spark plugs and ignition wires were replaced. A replacement Duralast Gold battery was installed under current ownership. The seller suggests cleaning the carburetors due to rideability concerns below operating temperature.
Power is routed to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and a replacement O-ring drive chain.
A service summary from previous ownership is shown above. Repair manuals, spare parts, and a folder of receipts and resources will also accompany the bike.
