Florida, LSU, Ole Miss ready huge offers for Lane Kiffin, per report

The Lane Kiffin sweepstakes just took another turn, and Florida football is right in the center of it.

According to a new report from On3's Chris Low, Brett McMurphy and Pete Nakos, the Florida Gators, LSU Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels are all expected to offer salary packages of at least $13 million per year for Kiffin, with numbers that could approach the $14 million mark.

But the money doesn't stop there.

Per the report, all three programs are prepared to commit at least $25 million in NIL investment to support Kiffin, a crucial component in the hiring process.

NIL structure has become one of the biggest factors in Kiffin's decision-making, especially after building the current Ole Miss roster through aggressive transfer-portal spending.

For Florida football, the numbers underscore one thing: the Gators are fully prepared to play in the deepest waters of the coaching carousel.

NIL investment now the centerpiece of Kiffin's decision

The Gators, Tigers and Rebels all appear willing to match each other financially, meaning the race won't simply come down to salary. According to On3, roster-building resources and guaranteed NIL funding have become the most important leverage point for Kiffin.

Kiffin has repeatedly emphasized the need for elite NIL support to win in the SEC, often highlighting how roster spending directly translates to success.

The Florida Gators appear to be all-in

With the College Football Playoff approaching and deadlines tightening inside Oxford, this report confirms what has already become obvious:

Kiffin is the most coveted coach on the market, and the three programs fighting for him are willing to break financial records to get him.

As the negotiations unfold, the question becomes simple: Who can offer Kiffin the most powerful combination of salary, NIL stability and long-term roster support?

The Orange and Blue are clearly in the fight, and the next move from Kiffin's camp may decide the direction of the entire SEC.
