This 2000 Audi RS4 is a German-market model that was purchased by the seller from its second owner in December 2024. An engine-out service for the twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 was carried out in Germany in January 2025, and the car was later brought to the US, where it now has 151k kilometers (~94k miles). Wearing a repaint in Brilliant Black over Onyx Valcona leather, the car is equipped with a six-speed manual transaxle, Quattro all-wheel drive, a sunroof, xenon headlights, fog lights, 18″ nine-spoke RS alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable Recaro front seats, a Bose sound system, an Audi Symphony CD/cassette stereo, navigation, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This B5 RS4 is now offered in California with a Montana title in the seller’s name.

The RS4 was built by quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm, Germany, and it features widened wheel arches along with revised bumpers, grilles, and side skirts compared with contemporary A4 and S4 models. This example wears a repaint in Brilliant Black (LY9B) with aluminum roof rails and mirror caps, and it also has xenon headlights, fog lights, a sunroof, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint imperfections are noted and the windshield-washer reservoir is cracked.

The 18″ nine-spoke RS alloy wheels show scrapes and are mounted with Kumho tires. The RS4 was factory equipped with double-piston floating front calipers and single-piston floating rear calipers over radially-vented discs at each corner.

The heated power-adjustable Recaro front seats and the split-folding rear bench are upholstered in Onyx Valcona leather. Amenities include a Bose sound system, an Audi Symphony CD/cassette stereo, navigation, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard and door panels.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 310-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 151k kilometers (~94k miles), approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

Developed by Cosworth Technology and equipped with twin BorgWarner K04 turbochargers, the RS4’s 30-valve 2.7-liter V6 was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. That power is routed to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system with a Torsen center differential.

The seller tells us that an engine-out service was performed in Germany in January 2025, with work that included overhauling the turbochargers and replacing the:
- Timing belt and tensioner
- Auxiliary belts and pulleys
- Water pump
- Spark plugs
- Starter
- Intake hose and filter
- lid struts
- Various fluids and gaskets
The car is located in California but is titled in Montana, and it has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair or the Air Resources Board.
