This 1985 Citroën 2CV6 Dolly was imported from France to the US in 2017 and purchased by the current owner shortly thereafter. It then underwent a two-year refurbishment at Carlsbad British Motorcars in California that involved refinishing portions of the bodywork, reupholstering the seats in gray cloth, and refreshing the drivetrain. Power comes from a 602cc flat-twin linked to a four-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes an electronic ignition, dual side mirrors, 15” steel wheels, and front disc brakes. Previously offered on BaT in July 2025, this 2CV6 Dolly is now offered again on dealer consignment in California with workshop manuals, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and an Ohio title.

The Dolly debuted in 1985 as a limited edition of the 2CV6, and it was initially offered in two-tone paint schemes combining gray with white, yellow, or red. Other colors became available when the trim package became a permanent option in the lineup. The Dolly is distinguished by a contrasting soft top, trunk lid, fenders, and side decals.

Portions of this car’s bodywork were repainted as part of the refurbishment work at Carlsbad British Motorcars, and a right-side mirror was added in 2021. Other work performed under current ownership is detailed in service records that are provided in the gallery.

The 15” steel wheels wear polished hubcaps, and the 125-series Michelin X tires were mounted in 2018. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The seats have been retrimmed in gray cloth with diamond-pattern stitching and are joined by black door panels and a rubber floor covering. Corrosion is noted on the heater control panel.

The single-spoke steering wheel frames a Jaeger 120-km/h speedometer with an inset fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 66k kilometers (~41k miles), approximately 3k of which have been added under current ownership.

The air-cooled 602cc flat-twin is equipped with a single carburetor and sends power to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The engine was resealed, an electronic ignition conversion kit was installed, and the exhaust pipe was replaced at Carlsbad British Motorcars in 2018. Work in 2024 involved cleaning and adjusting the carburetor as well as replacing the fuel filter.
